Maya was born and bred on the Gold Coast and grew up around a family of property developers, where Maya gained a key interest in the property investment and development field. Maya commenced her studies in Law at Bond University in 2012. Maya worked in a boutique law firm for four years during her studies and continued on with the firm to complete her supervised traineeship for one year full time leading up to her admission as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court in 2018. Maya continued on with the firm for a short while before advancing her experience in a multinational law firm in Brisbane, gaining exposure to high profile clientele.

  • managing retail shopping centres for clients;

  • commercial law, including drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements;

  • body corporate and management rights law including purchase and sale of management rights; and

  • liaising with various members of body corporates including commissioner disputes.
